FAQ's

Q.  Where is the water shutoff valve?
A.  On most homes, the water shut-off valve is located under an 8" diameter metal lid in your front yard.  You will need a special tool or an adjustable wrench to turn the valve off.

Q.  Are the water pipes in the homes metal or plastic?
A.  Of the homes surveyed, the plumbing is mainly copper pipe, unless the home has been upgraded to PVC pipe.

Q.  Where do I get a land plot map?
A.  You can contact the land records section of the Prince William County Court, or contact a surveying company and have them survey your land.

Important News

The Georgetown South Board of Trustees has decided to have quarterly official board meetings.  The first one will be the Annual Meeting on March 9.  The board will continue to meet for a workshop once a month and that first meeting will be 6pm on Tuesday, January 12.  All meetings are open.
